Pittsfield Home Sale Prices Range Widely From $25,000 to $340,000 in August

PITTSFIELD -- Eleven property transactions were recorded at the Middle Berkshire Registry of Deeds for Pittsfield between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only four listed a sale price, ranging from $25,000 to $340,000.

MARKET OVERVIEW

The registry recorded 11 transactions during the period, all dated Aug. 7. Of those, four disclosed a sale price and seven did not, a category that includes mortgages, an assignment, and trust or estate transfers. Among the four disclosed sales, prices ranged from $25,000 to $340,000, with a median of $192,110. Because fewer than half of the recorded transactions included a price, the raw count of 11 does not by itself indicate whether the period was active or quiet for arm's-length home sales.

TOP SALES

The highest-priced transaction was 35 Williams St., which sold for $340,000. David R. Cianflone was the seller; Brad M. Doerle and Jennifer E. Doerle were the buyers. The second-highest was 21 Robert St. at $251,720, sold by Brennon Stockton to Adams Community Bank. A property recorded simply as "Pittsfield, MA," without a street address, sold for $132,500 from Karl E. Dastoli to Mahesh Sharma. The fourth disclosed sale was 326 Springside Ave. at $25,000, transferred from Springside Avenue LLC to Mezzadria LLC. No beds, baths or square footage were available in the deed data for any of these properties.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN

Two streets had more than one recorded transaction.
