EGREMONT -- Thirteen property deeds were recorded in Egremont between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but a sale price has posted for only three of them so far, with those figures ranging from $70,000 to $825,000.

MARKET OVERVIEW

Of those, three carry a recorded sale price: $70,000, $585,000 and $825,000, for a median of $585,000. The remaining 10 entries show no price yet, which typically reflects a lag of about a week before consideration amounts post to the registry, not a withheld figure. Based on the raw count alone, 13 recorded deeds in roughly a month is a notable volume of activity for the town, though several of those recordings are trust transfers or involve banks and mortgage-related entities rather than open-market sales between unrelated buyers and sellers.

The second-highest was 210 Mount Washington Rd, which sold Aug. 27 for $585,000. The sellers were Claude J. Borenzweig and Louise A. Feldman; the buyers were Todd Weisse and Stephanie Spalding.

The third recorded price was 4 Bott Hill Rd, which sold Sept. 2 for $70,000. The seller was Mountain Stream LLC; the buyers were Finbarr O'Donovan and Patricia O'Donovan.

No other transactions in the period have a recorded price yet.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN

Mount Washington Road accounted for four of the 13 recordings, more than any other street.
