CLARKSBURG -- Fifteen property transfers were recorded in Clarksburg over the past month, though sale prices were disclosed in only six of them. Among those six, prices ranged from $65,000 to $450,000, with a median of $188,750.

MARKET OVERVIEW The Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 15 transfers involving Clarksburg property between July 31 and Aug. 26, 2026. Of those, six included a disclosed sale price, ranging from $65,000 to $450,000, with a median of $188,750. Fifteen recorded transfers in a single month is a notable volume of activity for the town, though the fact that fewer than half the records disclose a price limits what can be said about overall pricing trends. The remaining nine records include mortgage discharges, bank-related filings and transfers where no consideration amount was listed, which is common in deed data and does not necessarily indicate the property changed hands at no cost.

TOP SALES The month's highest-priced transaction was 654 River Road, which sold for $450,000 on Aug. 26. Carin R. Degrenier and Chad D. Degrenier were listed as sellers, with Adams Community Bank as buyer. At 77 Middle Road, Mary J. Adams sold to Adams Community Bank for $300,000 on Aug. 21. At 956 River Road, Robert J. and Joanne M. Patenaude sold to Rocket Mortgage LLC and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. for $262,500 on Aug. 19. At 155 River Road, Christine A. Griffin sold to Carin and Chad Degrenier for $115,000 on Aug. 11. A Clarksburg property listed without a specific street address sold for $87,919 on Aug. 7; the seller was listed as Kevin Bopp, trustee, and Clarksburg Cross Road Nominee Trust, with Pittsfield Cooperative Bank as buyer.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN River Road accounted for six of the month's 15 recorded transfers, more than any other street: 654 River Road ($450,000), 956 River Road ($262,500), 991 River Road (price not disclosed), 155 River Road (two separate recorded instruments, one disclosing $115,000), and 738 River Road (price not disclosed). Horrigan Road had two recorded transfers, at 276 and 290 Horrigan Road, both with price not disclosed. Henderson Road and Middle Road each had two recorded instruments tied to a single address, 5 Henderson Road and 77 Middle Road respectively.
