NORTH ADAMS -- The Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 14 property transactions in North Adams between Sept. 11 and Oct. 10, led by a $385,500 sale on Church Street. Only five of the 14 transactions carry a recorded sale price so far; the rest are expected to show pricing within about a week as the registry's data catches up.

MARKET OVERVIEW Fourteen transactions were recorded in the city over the four-week period. Among the five with a recorded price, amounts ranged from $25,000 to $385,500, with a median of $202,400. A raw count of 14 recorded transactions in a month is a moderate volume for North Adams, though with price data still pending on nine of them, the full scope of the period's market activity won't be clear for another week or so.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN Church Street saw the most recording activity of any single address, with three entries tied to 1589 Church St.: the $385,500 sale from Daniel J. Grant to Lower LLC and PWRTPO [laredo], plus two separate UCC filings naming Tesla Inc. as grantor and Grant as grantee, both with price not yet available. By price tier among the five sales with recorded figures: under $150,000, Charles Street ($25,000) and Biltmore Avenue ($129,730); $150,000 to $300,000, Francis Street ($202,400) and Blackinton Street ($276,750); over $300,000, Church Street ($385,500).
