Williamstown September Sales Span $34,000 to $1.3 Million, Median at $168,000

WILLIAMSTOWN -- Fifteen property transfers were recorded at the Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds for Williamstown between Sept. 25 and Oct. 24, but sale prices were available for only five of them, ranging from $34,000 to $1.3 million with a median of $168,000.

56 Benlise Drive sold for $168,000 on Sept. 28. The seller was Leslie A. Gura; the buyer was Greylock Federal Credit Union.

41 Linden Street sold for $158,000 on Sept. 30. The sellers were Timothy R. Andenmatten and Natasha H. Andenmatten; the buyers were Rocket Mortgage LLC and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc.

132 Main Street sold for $34,000 on Sept. 29. The sellers were Kevin Wilfredo Cruz Amaya and Rosario Isabel Majano; the buyer was Adams Community Bank.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN Main Street had the most recorded activity of any street, with four separate entries tied to 132 Main St, including the $34,000 sale to Adams Community Bank and three additional documents, a deed and mortgage-related filing, for which no price has yet been recorded.

Henderson Road had three recorded transfers, all at 849 Henderson Road and all involving Rebecca L. Williams and members of the Lindley family, including the estate of Peter F. Lindley. None of the three carried a recorded price.

Linden Street had two recorded transfers: the $158,000 sale at 41 Linden St to a mortgage lender, and a price-not-yet-available transfer at 57 Linden Street among Robert Y. Burns, Gail M. Burns and Brandon Burns.

Several addresses show multiple recorded documents for the same property on the same date, a pattern consistent with a deed and an accompanying mortgage being recorded together, as seen with the four entries at 132 Main St and the three at 849 Henderson Road.
