Stockbridge 250 Sets Oct. 30 Passport Deadline

Other Committee · Meeting of August 18, 2026

Stockbridge 250 Committee raises passport raffle bar to six stamps, sets October 30 deadline. Members meeting August 18 agreed residents must now collect six of the Passport 250 booklet's 10 stops, up from an earlier plan of five, to qualify for prizes including an item from Chesterwood, two adult tickets to the Norman Rockwell Museum and copies of a Stockbridge history book. Entries can be turned in at Chesterwood's visitor desk or the town clerk's office, with winners drawn Friday, November 6.

"You know, what we're saying is if you've stamped six or more, you're eligible," one member said. A still-unconfirmed Triplex Cinema movie night, tentatively August 27, remains the program's open question, with organizers pressing contacts "Ben" and "Chris" for a firm date before publicizing the raffle further. The committee also continued approval of its July 30 minutes to the next meeting after members could not open the file.
