HINSDALE -- The Middle Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 11 property transactions in Hinsdale between Sept. 25 and Oct. 24, but only one included a sale price at the time of this report: a $400,000 purchase on Canterbury Lane.

MARKET OVERVIEW Eleven deed documents were recorded in Hinsdale during the period. Of those, one carried a recorded sale price, $400,000 for 48 Canterbury Lane. The other 10 entries, including mortgage discharges, companion trust and estate deeds, and municipal transfers, had no price listed as of this report, which is consistent with the registry's typical lag of about a week before consideration amounts post. Frissell), 221 Ashmere Road (seller Hinsdale Town Conservation, buyers Michael J. Shepard and Dolores Edelson), and two parcels transferred from Jean Rizzo to the Town of Hinsdale, including 54 Rose Drive.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN Canterbury Lane had two recorded entries: the $400,000 sale and a companion deed between John A. Sorensen and Mary C. Sorensen. Main Street also had two entries: a companion deed involving Nancy L. Nichols and Alton J. Nichols Jr., and the sale of 116 Main St. to the March family.
