Select Board OKs survey of past, present members

Stockbridge Select Board approves survey asking past and present members about expanding the board to five seats. Chair Georgia told the board she had secured contact information for 12 of 14 people who have served, present or former, calling that "more than a 90 percent return rate." The board voted 6-0 by roll call to have Georgia send the survey from her town email, then voted 7-0 to accept the survey questions as presented, with board member Patty crediting colleague Cheryl as her "wingman" in assembling it. Recipients will get a two-week response window once the survey goes out, expected as soon as the week of September 21.
The board postponed approval of its September 3 minutes to its October 29 meeting.
