Select Board Sets Hearing for Pub License Transfer
Select Board · Meeting of September 28, 2026
Williamstown Select Board sets October hearing on pub license transfer, hears four-district school study update. The board unanimously approved an amended consent agenda, including three one-day liquor licenses for Williams College events and an October 26, 2026 hearing on Six House Pub LLC's request to transfer its license and change managers. Mount Greylock Superintendent Joe Bergeron and steering committee chair Erin Milne briefed the board on a joint study with North Adams, Hoosick Valley and the Northern Berkshire School Union examining secondary-school collaboration, now in a roughly year-long "phase one" data-gathering stage.
Consultant Jake Everly of BRIC12, the firm hired to run the study, urged residents to complete a new community survey, saying it is "one of the biggest data collection vehicles" for the project, with focus groups and a public forum planned for late November or early December.
