Conservation Commission · Meeting of October 8, 2026
WILLIAMSTOWN — The Conservation Commission approved two requests for determination of applicability and continued a third filing. Chair Philip McKnight led a 7-0 vote granting negative 3 determinations for Matt Brogan's Green River Road porch, deck and utility trenching and for a six-inch water line serving the Clark Art Institute's planned addition. The commission opened a notice of intent for a new public water supply well behind the Pondside Motel at the 1896 House.
Mike Koolig of Parkshire Engineering put the impact on land under water at about 20 square feet. The hearing was continued until the state Natural Heritage program responds, to October 22 or November 12.
