Planning Board OKs Goodrich Street lot-line plan

Planning Board · Meeting of September 15, 2026

Stockbridge Planning Board clears two-zone lot-line plan, holds August minutes for revision. Land surveyor Patrick McCulkin won unanimous approval for a Form A plan reconfiguring boundaries on property including 28 Goodrich Street and 14 Cherry Hill Road, after town counsel confirmed both resulting lots, with 209 and 251 feet of frontage, exceed the R1 district's 175-foot minimum. One member questioned whether the shift unfairly let abutters "recoup some of their losses," but the board noted Form A review is limited to "frontage and access." Separately, the board declined to approve its August 18 minutes, sending them back to reflect that an unrelated application "were not complete until August 14th." The August 25 minutes were approved as drafted.

McCulkin also told the board he and a client had received a suspected phishing email that day impersonating his firm.
