Lee board approves pole relocations for Hill Street bridge project

Lee Select Board restarts a utility pole hearing after an abutter's notice objection, then approves it unanimously. An abutter identified as Claire halted the board's hearing on NSTAR Electric/Eversource and Verizon petitions to relocate poles on Mill Street and Washington Mountain Road for MassDOT's Hill Street bridge project, saying "I'm protesting this meeting. The board also approved one-day licenses for the Lee Sportsmen's Association and Lee Youth Commission, a gas permit for Berkshire Gas, and designated 250th Anniversary Committee members as special municipal employees, all unanimously.
