Town Clerk's Office unveils hand-printed Declaration reproduction through July 17
Williamstown residents have through Friday, July 17, to view a hand-printed reproduction of the Declaration of Independence at the Town Clerk's Office, a document created using traditional methods for the first time in 250 years.

The Town Clerk's Office is displaying the hand-printed reproduction of the Declaration of Independence, which town officials say marks the first time in 250 years this particular reproduction method has been used. Residents are invited to stop by Town Hall and ask to view the town's copy through July 17.
Separately, the town announced that all Williamstown registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail application postcard by the end of July, sent directly from the Secretary of the Commonwealth's Office.
Several boards have upcoming meetings this week, including the Select Board on Monday, July 13, a Dave Caron Well #2 meeting on Tuesday, July 14, and gatherings of the Hoosac Water Quality District, Affordable Housing Trust and Finance Committee on Wednesday, July 15. The Planning Board's July 14 meeting has been cancelled.

The Clark Art Institute is hosting free artmaking activities as part of its Community Day, according to a report from The Berkshire Eagle picked up via a Williamstown-focused Google Alert distribution. The event offers family-friendly art activities and live performances at the Clark.
The Berkshire Eagle also reported on an upcoming Open Farm Day allowing visitors to explore local farms in the Williamstown and Hancock area, including Peace Valley Farm and Wendling Farm, per the same alert distribution.
