Ex-Miss Hall's Teacher Seeks Dismissal as Third Staffer Indicted
PITTSFIELD — A former Miss Hall's School teacher facing rape charges asked a judge Thursday to dismiss the case against him, the same day prosecutors announced the indictment of a third staff member from the private Pittsfield school in the wider abuse investigation.
TOWN HALL The city and MassHire Berkshire Career Center will hold a hiring event for Pittsfield's Department of Public Services and Utilities on August 27 from noon to 2 p.m. at City Hall, according to a News Flash post from the city.
The Massachusetts Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs has declared a Level 2, Significant Drought for the Western Region, which includes Pittsfield, the city said in a public notice. The designation reflects worsening dry conditions across Berkshire County.
