Hinsdale Soccer is asking the community to help fund a new synthetic turf field to replace the town's current playing surface.

HINSDALE -- The push comes from the Hinsdale Soccer Centennial Field Campaign, a privately funded effort described on the organization's website as a plan to build a new, modern synthetic turf soccer field "designed to replace current field conditions that have become subpar and inconsistent."

YOUTH LEAGUES -- According to Hinsdale Soccer, the new facility aims to give student athletes and the broader community a "consistently safe, reliable, and high-quality playing surface." The organization says replacing the natural grass field with turf would increase field accessibility, reduce weather-related cancellations and provide more consistent playing conditions throughout the year. The campaign is seeking tax-deductible donations, which the group says will fund the project so that "teamwork and resilience will flourish for decades to come." Those interested in contributing or learning more can reach the organization at info@hinsdalesoccer.org.

No Hinsdale High School games were listed on ArbiterLive for the period.
